Around 16 months ago - as the waves of the COVID-19 pandemic crashed through the healthcare and fitness industries - we introduced a number of changes to ensure our customers could continue delivery of vital services during uncertain times. These changes included the roll-out of one-to-one telehealth appointments, our zoom integration for virtual classes and our unique pay-as-you-go pricing model on TM3 Connect.

As covered in previous articles, the adoption of SaaS solutions across the healthcare and fitness sectors has been rapidly accelerated throughout the pandemic. As things progressively re-open and businesses return to full operations, we’ve seen the market continue to shift toward SaaS for the benefits of security, access to innovation, enhanced client experiences and improvements in scaling and performance.

Only Pay For What You Use

As we continue to see momentum with TM3 Connect through times of fragility and recovery, we want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to make it easier for businesses in the healthcare and fitness sectors to scale back to full operations in the most cost-effective way. With pay as you go pricing for part-time practitioners and instructors, our customers pay for TM3 based on the number of delivered appointments and classes. The goal is for customers to get value immediately without unnecessary overheads – ensuring you get access to industry leading features and only pay when revenue is guaranteed.

The addition of our PAYG pricing model was initially based customer feedback and aligned more closely with what you’d expect to see from SaaS and cloud providers outside of clinic and studio management space - where customers can start small and grow their expertise and commitment over time. However, in the last 12 months, it has allowed clinics and studios to successfully navigate multiple national and local lockdowns without the need for continued licence changes. It also puts the onus on us to keep delivering a great product that adds value every step of the way as your business scales.
