Donal O’Reilly graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2013, the place where he first used TM2. Since then, Donal has opened his own clinic in Banbridge using TM3 as his practice management system software. We caught up with Donal to find out a bit more about the solution.
Having worked with TM2 previously, what made you consider the move to TM3?
“The functionality of TM3 was the main selling point for me. TM3’s user experience is slick and allows me to get from A to B easily, making my working day far more efficient. In addition to this, the benefit of having all my data safely hosted gives me peace of mind.”
How did you find the process of upgrading?
“The process was so short and seamless that I can’t actually remember the day it happened.
The only part I remember is tweaking the case history template so I could get more use out of it. I used notes in TM2 before but the new notes in TM3 delivers much more, its far more flexible and saves so much time which can be spent doing treatments.
The customer support team have been there every step of the way to support me and the 2gether knowledge base is a great platform which has loads of ‘how to’ info in it to ensure you get the most from the system. Being able to reach the support team by live chat is also great for getting quick answers to any issues or questions.”
You spoke of the functionality of TM3, what is your favourite feature?
“Online Bookings and the ability to login in anywhere.
Patients love the service which reflects in their repeat business. They book on their own time and its much less hassle than having to pick up the phone and call. The fact that they can fill in address details when registering saves me time taking those details when they arrive which means we can get straight into treatments.
Another bonus of having online bookings means that I don’t have to keep answering the phone, and I’m not chasing up loads of voicemails where people just wanted to book. It’s also means that I don’t interrupt treatments and my attention is never diverted from the patient during their appointment. At the start I was concerned about cost of TM3, but the effect of the booking confirmations and reminders means TM3 has more than paid for itself. It helped me reduce late cancellations and DNAs down from 2-3 week to 2-3 a month.”
Would you recommend TM3 to others?
“Yes, and I have already done so!”
